In summary, I am a business professional with 30 years of experience creating and selling high-tech solutions, consequently I have a good understanding of information technology and subsequently the industries that use information technology solutions. I also understand sales and the critical role marketing plays in this process. And I have written a lot of content for business and copy writing for sales and marketing over the years.

I have 30 years experience investigating client’s business objectives and providing technical or business solutions to address those objectives.
Included in those 30 years, I wrote RFP, proposals, system and user documentation, proof of concepts, marketing designs, copywriting documents, sales letters, case studies, resumes.
In addition, I wrote an article published in the St Louis Post Dispatch and a children’s book.
And I’ve written numerous blog articles for a health website.

The following is a scenario I witnessed many times over.

A manager has a business objective and selecting a technical solution could be very helpful in meeting that business objective. But the manager really doesn’t have the knowledge about technology nor the time to go through a lengthy analysis and selection process. Consequently the manager is frustrated. All the manager wants is to do is accomplish the business goal, not spend days, weeks, and possibly months talking to technical and sales people.

One skill I refined during the past 30 years was the ability to have a common sense dialogue about complex solutions in a way that brings clarity to decisions makers so they feel confident about their decisions. By presenting solutions in terms they can understand, I found that people are much more willing to take action.
