Does Content Matter?
Simply put, it depends on the content. If the content achieves your objective, did the content matter?
-
- If you go to a car dealership to check out a car you saw in a TV commercial or a magazine ad. Did that content call you to action?
- If you call for a quote on a machine for your company because you read digital marketing material explaining features and functionality, did the digital marketing content make you curious?
- If you visit a website and submit an email on that site for more information about their services, did the website content grab your attention?
If you answered yes to any of these scenarios, then I suggest perhaps you believe like I do that content matters.
So, how do you write content that matters? With experience, knowledge about the different types of content, creativity, strategy, and most of all an understanding of your business and objectives.
Many companies, including marketing agencies, hire freelance writers to develop their content marketing strategy, their website, create digital marketing communications, to write blogs, to manage social media, to write white papers and case studies, and to develop all content for these and other advertising and marketing initiatives.
I am Sharon DelPietro, a Freelance Writer and owner of Primo Writer, and I write content. I assist companies to market their companies, products and or services. I do so by writing content with one or two goals in mind:
1) Help decision makers to understand their options, to understand the complex solutions available to them, and to simplify complex into simple. Bottom line, to educate.
2) Create enough interest, even excitement, about my client’s company, product or service, to make decision makers take action.
Going forward, know that if you have a business, product or service you want people to know about, hire a Freelance Writer. They will help you to educate and engage your intended audience, leaving you to do what you do so well …….close the deal.
Please take a look at my services and let’s talk. I sincerely hope I will earn the privilege of assisting you.
